Welcome to Women With Guitars!

This blog is dedicated to the women who play guitar. I’ve opened up commenting down below so if you think of a female guitarist that’s not covered on here let me know. I want to provide some good stories about all of those women with guitars. There have been so many women over the years that have played guitars.

Some of them have been singer/songwriter types while others have been some of the best shredders around. One of my favorite female guitarists is Lita Ford. She started as a member of a band called the runaways with Joan Jett.

I also like Jewel though. She is more of the singer songwriter type but still a quite good guitar player.

Really, when you look around there are many women with guitars that just flat out rock!
